I heard some good news from MSAS Microsoft Support last week.
Service Pack 4(Projected Release 4th Quarter) may include a diagnostic tool that will enable you to check for Olap Database inconsistencies (Like, DBCC CHECKDB in SQL Server). In more complex, MSAS structures issues can arise in the indexes/aggregations that do not manifest into issues causing MSAS dumps until months later. If this diagnostic tool is used on a weekly basis, detection of these types of issues can be detected earlier. They may also include an Auto Repair Tool for top level structures.
